SAFEST BOOKMAKERS

Privacy policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

1. Controller and contact

Safestbookmakers is responsible for personal data processed to operate safestbookmakers.com. Address: Kossuth Lajos utca 52., Ráckeve, Hungary. Contact support@safestbookmakers.com for privacy questions or requests.

2. What we process and why

Account information includes username, email address, securely hashed password, verification state, acceptance records and notification preferences. We use it to provide access, secure accounts and deliver requested services. Complaint and review information includes your submissions, country, operator details, disputed amount, correspondence, moderation history and files you choose to provide. We use it to assess and manage your case or contribution. Technical information may include IP addresses, timestamps, device/browser information and security or delivery logs needed to operate and protect the service.

Our legal bases are performance of the account/service agreement for requested features; legitimate interests in security, abuse prevention and fair moderation; compliance with applicable legal obligations; and consent for optional analytics. Reading this notice does not itself grant analytics or marketing consent.

3. Public and private information

Your username and approved reviews, complaint summaries and public replies can be public and indexed by search engines. Account email, private notes and private evidence are not part of the public case. Evidence is accessible through permission-checked downloads for the case owner and authorised staff. Information placed in a public field may be disclosed when that submission is approved, so redact it before submitting.

4. Service providers and storage

Hostinger provides hosting and email delivery. Google Drive is used for website backups, which may contain account and private case information. Google Analytics processes optional measurement data after consent. Providers may process data in more than one country. Hosting, email, backup and analytics providers may process information outside Hungary or the European Economic Area. You can request information about the provider arrangements and applicable transfer safeguards from our privacy contact. Where GDPR restricts a transfer, an applicable transfer mechanism is required; the presence of a provider on this list does not itself establish one. We may disclose information when required by law or to respond to a legitimate security incident.

5. Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies support login and security. Comparison choices use browser storage. Optional analytics remains off until accepted. Reject analytics is available alongside Accept analytics; Cookie settings in the footer lets you change your choice. Consent preference and configured analytics cookies have a 180-day duration. Analytics covers eligible public pages and selected navigation events, not private account, individual complaint or submission pages. We do not include form contents, private evidence or email addresses in analytics events. Withdrawing consent stops further measurement; it does not delete data Google has already received.

6. Email choices

Account and case updates are enabled by default and delivered only to verified addresses. An existing opt-out is respected. You can disable these updates in My account. Necessary verification, recovery and security communications remain separate. Account registration does not subscribe you to marketing.

7. Retention

We retain information for the purposes described above, considering active accounts, open cases, security needs and applicable legal requirements. Account records remain while the account is active. On a closure or erasure request, we assess which records are still needed for unresolved cases, abuse prevention or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Case records and evidence are retained while the case or a related challenge remains active; continued retention is assessed against those purposes. Public contributions may remain where there is a justified public-information purpose, subject to privacy and erasure requests. Technical and delivery records are kept according to the operational and security purpose for which they were generated and the provider settings. There is no single automatic deletion period covering all these records. Ask us for information about your particular records. Current backup scheduling retains 14 daily database backups and four weekly file backups; separately retained manual backups also exist. These settings do not mean that primary records are automatically deleted after those periods.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Contact support@safestbookmakers.com; we may need proportionate information to verify the request. Rights may have legal exceptions. You may complain to the competent data protection authority. In Hungary, the supervisory authority is the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH), NAIH. You may also contact the authority in your habitual place of residence, work or the place of an alleged infringement where GDPR allows. The service is intended for adults; contact us if you believe an underage person has registered.

9. Changes

We will date revisions and provide further notice where required for material changes. Contact us if any part of this notice is unclear.

Optional analytics and browser storage

We use Google Analytics only after you choose Accept analytics. It measures visits to public information pages, approximate location, devices, referral sources and clicks opening reviews, comparison, registration and complaint submission. A successful registration may be counted once on a subsequent public page within 30 minutes, with consent; private account pages are not measured. Google processes the measurement data. We disable advertising personalization and Google signals.

Account pages, contact forms, complaint submissions and individual case pages are excluded. We do not send names, email addresses, form contents, evidence, URL query parameters or fragments. Referrals are limited to the referring website’s origin. Measurement is incomplete when visitors decline or block analytics.

Your consent preference is stored in your browser as sb_consent_v1 for 180 days. Optional _ga and _ga_* cookies have a maximum configured lifetime of 180 days. You can withdraw consent from Cookie settings in the footer; we stop further measurement and remove accessible analytics cookies. Withdrawal does not delete data already received by Google.

Essential WordPress cookies support authentication and security. Comparison selections use sb-compare browser storage. These features do not depend on accepting analytics.
